Fairtrade

At Lees Street we support buying Fairtrade products. The Fairtrade Mark guarantees that disadvantaged producers in the developing world are getting a better deal.

We have a regular stall selling fairtrade food and drinks supplied by Traidcraft, a Christian organisation dedicated to fighting poverty through trade.

About Our Church

We are a diverse family church that tries to be inclusive of different styles of worship, discover more about God and show God's love in our daily lives.

Lees Street Congregational Church has been a part of the life and community of Higher Openshaw since 1871.

We are a member of the Congregational Federation, formed in 1972 as the continuing denomination of independent congregational churches.

The Congregational Federation is connected to the wider world church through the Council for World Mission.
